Moving Data within the Spreadsheet
To move the query data from within an Excel®
spreadsheet simply select, then cut and paste the data (use the keys "Ctrl+X" to
cut and "Ctrl+V" to paste) to a new location in the spreadsheet. (Note: use cut
and paste not copy and paste to move the data. Copy and paste will not move the
reference to the query.)
MIMIC Updates
Moving Rows with
"Ctrl+Arrow" Keys
Previously, to move a row up or down in MIMIC you would click in a row (a
highlight will appear around the cell) then use the arrow up or down keys to
move the row up or down. Now, use the "Ctrl+arrow" keys to position the row.
Remember, you can also copy and paste a row using the "Ctrl+C" and "Ctrl+V" keys
as well.
