New Feature - Get Financials - Logical Information Machines is pleased to announce a new software feature for the MIM Excel Add-in software: Get Financials

Get Financials

Use "Get Financials" to run the COMPUSTAT annual and quarterly reports for North America. These reports are detailed in Chapter 4 of the Standard and Poor's COMPUSTAT User Guide.

The following types of reports can be generated for a symbol across a given date range.

• Balance Sheet
• Income Statement
• Cash Flow Statement
• Restated Data
• Additional Information
• Bank and S&L
   

A Work Pad spreadsheet is available to download for your convenience. Just enter a symbol name and date range in the Work Pad, select Get Financials from the menu. From a dialog choose the types of annual or quarterly reports you want to run and set other options.

The following graphic shows the Work Pad for entering the symbol name and date range.

Use the following display window to choose the types of COMPUSTAT reports you would like to generate. For this example, the Balance Sheet and Income Statement are checked.

Each report will display in a separate spreadsheet. The following graphic shows the Balance Sheet report.

There is also an option to show the amount of change in the last two years and the percentage of change between the two years.
